St Laurence’s College marked Le Chéile Day 2026 with a vibrant celebration focused on community, kindness, and unity. The school’s corridors were buzzing with smiles as students and staff came together for a day of meaningful activities designed to strengthen bonds and spread positivity through acts of kindness throughout the day.
Central to the celebrations was the much-anticipated Kindness Bracelet Exchange. Students and staff challenged each other for colourful bracelets throughout the day, each one adorned with symbols or words representing kindness, friendship, and encouragement.
In addition to the bracelet exchange, the school introduced a playful twist with a Rock-Paper-Scissors Challenge that invited every student and staff member to participate. Stations were set up in the hall, welcoming everyone to compete in quick rounds with friends, staff, and even members of the senior leadership team.
There was also a kindness tree in the Library where students contributed kind words and encouragement throughout the day to win more bracelets.
As Le Chéile Day concluded, faces glowed with smiles and bracelets, leaving behind a strong sense of connection that will carry through the rest of the school year.
