St. Laurence College is managed by a Board of Management. All members of the Board of Management are nominated and appointed by the Trustees (The Marianists).
The Composition of the Board is as follows:
- Trustee Representatives (4 including the Chairperson of the Board)
- Parent Representatives (2)
- Teacher Representatives (2)
The Board of Management works under the direction of the Department of Education and Science and functions within the Articles of Management for Catholic Voluntary Schools.
The school Principal, Mr Carr, acts as secretary to the Board and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school.
The new Board of Management 2011-2014 are as follows:
Mr Martin Duggan (Chairperson), Mr Robert Nutty, Bro Fred Rech, Bro Gerry McAuley, Mr Tony McGennis, Ms Bernie Johnston, Ms Emma Dwyer and Mr Tony O’Rourke.
